VTT_Connected Infotainment Project Manager

職務内容/Job duties [Purpose]
As a Connected Infotainment Project Manager on our team, you'll take charge of projects for the Volkswagen brand projects in the Japanese and Korean markets. You accompany your projects along the product development process and work closely with the European developer at Volkswagen brand.

[Responsibility]
-Project Management:
Drive project success by hitting milestones and managing change requests. Keep Headquarters in the loop with regular updates and ensure smooth error tracking and fixes. Be a key player in development and quality meetings.

-Testing Strategy:
Craft and steer the local test strategy. Work hand-in-hand with partners to align and optimize testing processes. Plan and execute test tasks to guarantee top-notch quality.

-Innovation Scouting:
Be on the lookout for cutting-edge functions, solutions, and testing methods. Assess their potential and relevance, then report your findings. Collaborate with purchasing and Headquarters to bring innovative ideas to life.

-Coordinating Contractors:
Be the coordinator of all testing tasks with external partners and companies. Ensure everything runs like clockwork, hitting quality and timing targets. Evaluate outcomes and always look for ways to improve. Help prepare Scope of Work (SOW) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for outsourcing contracts. Review offers and keep a close eye on contractor performance.

-Team Organization:
Support team organization and suggest improvements. Provide technical leadership and ensure the team thrives together with the Management.

応募資格/Qualifications 1) University degree or equivalent experience
2) Language skills: Advanced in English and Native in Japanese
3) High technical affinity
4) High interest in cars and automotive industry
5) Ability to take customers’ perspective
6) Expert knowledge or experience of general automotive or software technology
7) Experience in Reading, writing and working with technical specification for automotive requirements
8) Analytical problem identification, solving and reporting
9) Willingness to build expert knowledge on the assigned functions
10) Experience in System and software technical debugging and trouble shooting
11) Communication skills and ability to explain complex topics to stakeholders on all levels of knowledge
12) Driver’s license in Japan
