Regulation Monitoring

職務内容／Job duties This position is responsible for monitoring the new and amendment of Japanese regulations, related to vehicles, to collect information and inform to VW Group brand Headquarters to be algin with Japanese regulatory requirement. 【Responsibilities】 1) Monitor Japanese regulations; e.g. vehicle safety regulations and vehicle related regulations including End of Life Vehicle relevant 2) Assess the impact of the monitored information to VW Group brands 3) Report the assessed information to VW Group brands 4) Input the assessed information into the designated system 5) Communicate with the counterparts in VW Group brands and provide the regulation interpretation when requested 6) Communicate and lobbying as a point of contact for vehicle regulatory topics with external stakeholders such as authorities (MLIT, METI, MIC, MOE, etc.) and JAIA (Japan Automobile Importer s Associations) 【Main KPIs】 1) Manage the MSoR (Monitoring Steering of Regulation) processes based on the guideline to secure all the required regulation information are informed to HQs in a timely manner   応募資格／Qualifications 【Required】 1) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 2) Interest in the automotive sector 3) Experience in the automotive industry 4) Experience with industrial laws and regulations OR product planning 5) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 6) Bilingual and intercultural communication skills in Japanese and English (spoken and written) 7) Strong negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders 8) Excellent interpersonal skills 9) Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business 10) Highly motivated team player with an open mind 【Nice to have】 1) German 2) Valid driver's license  勤務地／Location Shinagawa or Toyohashi
