Audi Media & Sponsorship Specialist

職務内容/Job duties This position is responsible for aligning the annual media and
sponsorship strategy with Audi Japan Marketing management, as
well as with relevant counterparts at AUDI AG, in order to be in line with the global strategy and Audi Japan marketing strategy, and to maximize the effect of media and sponsorship activities to best reach and influence our defined target audience, and ultimately contribute to increasing brand image and awareness.
The Media & Sponsorship Specialist manages the planning, buying,
and optimization of all classical and digital push media channels, by working closely with and steering the designated media agency, as well as guides key project sponsorships, including but not limited to media tie-ups.
Main responsibilities include:
1) Plan efficient and effective annual media buying strategies in
line with the global media guidelines and overall Audi Japan
marketing strategy.
2) Brief media agency for media related aspects of campaigns and
media tie-ups, and oversee the development of each.
3) Negotiate media buying deals and services with the media
agency and media holders, and conduct media buying for all ATL
communication.
4) Manage the media budget to maximize effectiveness, and spend
in full.
5) Compile and update the overall Marketing Communication
budget every month and submit to Controlling.
6) Track, monitor, and review media projects and campaigns from
the perspectives of cost, quality, and effect. Compile campaign
reports within 2 weeks of campaign completion.
7) Continuously optimize TV spot cost and quality with the use of
periodical 3
rd party media audits.
8) Build relationships with media in collaboration with Public
Relations by attending press events, holding events, and through
other tie-up activities.
9) Track and analyze competitor media activities.
10) Create, review and evaluate all potential sponsorship
opportunities, and present proposals that add value to the
overall marketing strategy. Also track and evaluate the ROI of
each sponsorship post-execution.
11) Align closely with the Marketing Communication Senior Manager
and collaborate with other teams internally to successfully
execute multi-channel projects.
INTERNAL
12) Prepare and present documents to explain Audi Japan’s
marketing activities and media plans, budgets, and KPIs to AUDI
AG periodically, and upon request.
13) Evaluate the performance of the Media agency.
14) Create and update Scope of Work and contracts for the media
agency and all sponsorship deals. 
応募資格/Qualifications 1) At least 5 years of experience in advertising (media
planning/buying role) required, preferably in Japan and within
the automotive industry.
2) Experience working with media agencies for through-the-line
media buying is mandatory.
3) Experience in working at a multi-national corporation, aligning
regularly with headquarters is beneficial.
4) University bachelor’s degree
5) Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
6) Fluent level Japanese; Business level English
