VTT_Whole Vehicle Function Validation

職務内容／Job duties Purpose of Whole Vehicle & Approval Testing Dept. is the extensive whole vehicle systems and function testing and their approval / release in Japan and Korea for Whole Vehicle Development and Quality Assurance divisions. Ahead of the vehicle projects SOP, the local systems validation towards a complaint and bug free vehicle system for Volkswagen Group brands and their release on-time is the key success factor for the local market introduction and customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for securing high standard quality in prototype and pre-series vehicle operation by closely monitoring the technical condition and status of the whole vehicle systems. To analyze and adapt parameters and coding in whole vehicle ECUs to assure validation according to Volkswagen Group customer requirements and standards is of high importance. [Job Tasks] -Coordinate online connectivity validation and testing project tasks for Group brands (e.g. mobile online services, web apps and all related connected infotainment services). -Coordinate advanced driver assistance systems validation and testing project tasks for Group brands (e.g. Rear-cross traffic alert, lane assist etc. as well as all activities in regards of Lvl2+/3). -Assure a constantly high quality of SOPRO testing (e.g. by self-testing; by coordinating with driver supplier) as well as actively contribute to the development process by ticketing relevant (e.g. SOPRO) issues. -Knowledge transfer from Group development and quality assurance divisions about system function updating and relevant ECU coding. ・Division of market specific strategies for system function validation tests as well as synergetic processes for an efficient prototype and pre-series test car operation. ・Market-specific adjustment, implementation and continuous optimization of Volkswagen Group brands Whole Vehicle validation related IT systems. Digitalization of existing paper-based processes. ・Establish optimized workflow for lean ticket creation and follow-up [Main KPIs] -Number of solved technical problems -Number of coded ECUs -Number of conducted special testing programs  応募資格／Qualifications -BA or equivalent -3 years of relevant experience -Drivers license valid in Japan -Business+ English (including conversation), basic Japanese, basic German (ideal but not necessary) -Knowledge of whole vehicle systems, validation testing strategies, compliant and ticket handling -Communication skill with internal/external colleagues ・Organizational skills ・Facilitate project management meetings ・Strategy creation for own area of responsibility ・Operation process creation for own area of responsibility   勤務地／Location Yokohama (to be discussed during interview)
